Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Plans, manages, and coordinates activities of the dining services department.
• Develops and enforces standards within budget and regulatory guidelines.
• Plans menus and controls food costs; may prepare meals.
• Oversees food prep and kitchen safety procedures.
• Trains and directs dining services staff; manages scheduling.
• Prepares department budget and cost control systems.
• Presents nutrition education to residents and staff.
• Maintains quality and sanitation throughout service areas.
