Job summary

Kennesaw State University is seeking a capable dining supervisor to assist with daily operations at the Chick-fil-A location inside the Student Center. You will supervise staff, ensure brand standards, train team members, and help manage inventory and health compliance in a fast-paced food service setting.

The role requires at least a year of dining-related experience, a high school diploma, and a ServSafe certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• One year of dining related experience.
• ServSafe Food Handler Certification (preferred).
• An undergraduate or advanced degree from an accredited institution in a related field.
• Previous lead or supervisor experience in a retail, food service or restaurant location.

Responsibilities

• Assist supervisor with oversight of assigned staff and execution of work.
• Train assigned employees according to policies and procedures.
• Ensure employees are trained in brand, unit or station standards.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures.
• Maintain inventory and order supplies complying with health codes and standards.
• Oversee position and break rotations.
• Ensure compliance with food and health safety codes and regulations.
• Maintain cleanliness of building, location and station.
• Cross-train across areas and support where needed.
• May serve food from assigned station or location.
