Job summary

Kennesaw State University is seeking a dining supervisor to oversee staff and operations at the Marietta campus. You will help schedule, coach teams, and ensure the dining program meets student needs while staying within budget.

The role requires leadership in front/back of house and collaboration with culinary teams. Successful candidates will have a high school diploma, ServSafe certification within 12 months, and at least one year of supervisory experience in food service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Manager ServSafe certified or obtains certification within twelve (12) months of hire.
• One (1) year of supervisory experience in a food service establishment.

Responsibilities

• Oversees assigned staff, student assistants and operations within the assigned dining operations on a campus/location.
• Assist managers with scheduling, team development, and budgeting goals.
• Provide a dining experience that meets the lifestyle needs of students.
• Lead, supervise, train and develop staff and/or student assistants.
• Assist management in managing expenses, generating revenue and the overall financial success.
