Job summary

Autumnwood Care Center is seeking a Director of Dining Services to oversee the dietary department, design nutritionally balanced menus with a Registered Dietitian, and ensure regulatory compliance across state and federal codes.

The role requires strong leadership, budget oversight, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to meet residents' medical needs, preferences, and dietary restrictions.

Qualifications

• Experience in dietary management, preferably in long-term care.
• Education in nutrition or related field preferred.
• CDM certification preferred.
• Ohio Manager certification or willingness to obtain.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Knowledge of nutrition, menu planning and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Plan and direct the dietary department operations.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with state and federal codes.
• Collaborate with Registered Dietitian on menus.
• Manage inventory, purchasing, and budgeting.
• Supervise and develop dietary staff.
• Maintain records for meals and resident dietary needs.
• Participate in care plan meetings.
