Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is seeking a Food Service Director to lead the dining program at a long-term care facility. You will drive high food quality, manage inventory, and ensure safety and compliance to deliver exceptional dining experiences for residents and clients.

In this role you will supervise staff, coordinate with client managers, and maintain records using HCSG software. The position includes comprehensive benefits, training opportunities, and nationwide transfer options.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in food service management or hospitality.
• Two years of quantity food production/service and personnel supervision preferred.
• CDM certification preferred (or as required by state/county law).
• Must obtain FPM within 14 days of employment; FSM and LTC-FSM within 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the food service team to meet quality and safety standards.
• Maintain accurate records of income, expenditures, food supplies, personnel, and equipment using HCSG software.
• Conduct staff training, quality control, and in-service sessions; perform roles of dietary aide, cook, and dishwasher as needed.
• Communicate directives from client managers and administrators to HCSG staff.
• Follow infection control and handwashing procedures; maintain sanitary environment.
