Healthcare Services Group, Inc. is seeking a Food Service Director to lead the dining department at a long-term care facility. You will oversee menu adherence, quality standards, inventory control, and customer service to enhance resident experiences.

The role requires coordination with facility managers and adherence to federal, state, and local regulations, along with HCSG policies to ensure high-quality dining services. Team leadership and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in food service mgmt or hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the site-wide food service team to meet quality and safety standards.
• Maintain records of income, expenditures, food supplies, personnel, and equipment using HCSG software.
• Conduct staff training, quality control, and in-service sessions; cover roles as needed (dietary aide, cook, dishwasher).
• Communicate directives from client managers, building occupants, and administrators to staff.
• Ensure safe handling of cleaning solutions, report equipment issues promptly.
• Follow infection control and handwashing procedures to maintain sanitation.
• Maintain consistent attendance and timely task completion.
• Represent HCSG positively in interactions with supervisors, staff, residents, and guests.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
