Commonwealth Senior Living is seeking a Dining Services Director to lead the signature dining program at the community. You will provide friendly, responsive service and oversee staff to ensure an exceptional dining experience for residents.

The role requires management experience in food service, adherence to health regulations, and a commitment to the company values. Full-time with a comprehensive benefits package is offered.

Competenze

• Must have or obtain Certification in the Food Handlers Course or equivalent.
• Previous management experience in the food service industry.
• Ability to read and write English.
• Willingness and ability to learn new tasks.
• Must be available to work varied shifts and weekends.
• Ability to lift heavy objects; stand and walk throughout the day; tolerate kitchen heat.
• Must be free of communicable diseases.

Mansioni

• Prepare and serve nutritious meals to residents in a safe sanitary manner per Health Regulations.
• Prepare food for regular and therapeutic diets per menu and doctor orders.
• Ensure proper quantities and timing of food production.
• Prepare food for special events as directed by the Executive Director.
• Maintain costs within budgeted parameters.
• Taste food to ensure quality and palatability before service.
• Maintain proper food temperatures and record temperatures.
• Report hazardous equipment to the Executive Director.
• Make recommendations to improve recipes, menus, and service.
• Attend workshops and trainings to stay current in healthcare dining.
• Lead and manage dining staff scheduling and tasks.
• Inspect dietary area for compliance with regulations.
• Maintain inventory control procedures.
• Purchase food, supplies, and equipment as needed.
• Ensure 72-hour emergency food and water supply per regulations.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident care information.
• Supervise and manage dining department associates.
