Brightview Senior Living in Danvers, MA seeks a Dining Services Director to lead a team of dining associates, champion resident service, and oversee day-to-day operations with a focus on meals, nutrition, and exceptional experiences for residents.

You will set service standards, manage the budget, build vendor relationships, ensure safety and cleanliness, and work with other departments on community initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; education focused in culinary, hospitality, or food management.
• 2–4 years of Food Service Management experience in hospitality.
• Ability to lead and manage a large diverse group of associates.
• Current Safe Serve or other relevant certification.
• Demonstrated experience in food preparation.
• Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to plan and manage a budget.
• Ability to analyze reports.
• Moderate computer skills in the standard Microsoft suite.
• Positive attitude, enthusiasm and energy.
• Ability to effectively communicate in English.

Responsabilités

• Build, develop and manage all of the community’s dietary associates, and establish a communication plan with residents, families, and guests.
• Engage with residents during meal service to ensure a dining experience exceeds expectations.
• Solicit feedback regarding menu preferences, dining experiences and overall satisfaction during meals.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of the dining services budget and vendor relationships.
• Assure the kitchen environment and dining areas are clean and safe.
• Work with the team to prepare meals and maintain standards.
• Collaborate with other departments to support marketing and public relations of the community.
• Serve on special projects and assignments across Brightview communities.
