Lutheran Village at Miller's Grant in Ellicott City, MD is seeking a Full-Time Dining Services Associate - Clinical to support the preparation, service and delivery of meals in accordance with dietary guidelines and sanitation standards. This role involves direct interaction with residents and staff and contributes to a positive dining experience.

This position requires at least 1 year of hospital, restaurant, or CCRC experience and offers competitive wages with a robust benefits package,

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent or current enrollment in high school.
• At least 1 year experience in hospital, restaurant, or continuing care retirement community (CCRC) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and support a positive dining experience.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, infection control, and dietary guidelines.
• Prepare meals according to recipes, production sheets, and therapeutic diet requirements.
• Operate kitchen equipment, assist with food preparation, cooking, and serving.
• Deliver meals, assist with menu selections, and ensure dietary compliance.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized workstations, equipment, and service areas.
• Communicate resident and dietary updates accurately and professionally.
• Protect resident confidentiality and report concerns to appropriate staff.
• Participate in meal service, training sessions, and other duties as assigned.

This position is Monday-Friday with a every other weekend rotation. Scheduled hours may be either be 6:30am–2:30pm or 10:30am-6:30pm, depending on departmental needs and scheduling.The Dining Services Associate is responsible for supporting the preparation, service, and delivery of meals in accordance with established dietary guidelines, sanitation standards, and facility policies.
