Job summary

Carroll Lutheran Village is seeking a Part-Time Dining Services Associate - Clinical to support meals for residents. The role focuses on serving meals, following dietary guidelines, ensuring sanitation, and delivering a positive dining experience in collaboration with healthcare staff.

The position requires reading recipes, following production sheets, and conforming to HIPAA and safety standards. Shifts are 4:00pm–7:30pm, three weekdays per week with every-other-weekend rotation.

Qualifications

  • Customer service experience in hospital, dining, or retirement living environments preferred.
  • Ability to read and follow recipes, production sheets and product directions.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards; willingness to adhere to HIPAA guidelines where applicable.

Responsibilities

  • Take orders, serve meals, and ensure a positive dining experience for residents and staff.
  • Follow food safety, sanitation, and hospitality standards.
  • Prepare meals by reading recipes and production sheets; measure and mix ingredients as directed.
  • Estimate food quantities based on census and dietary needs; operate kitchen equipment safely.
  • Prepare therapeutic diets and nutrition-focused meals; monitor texture modifications as required.
  • Assist with tray line, dining room service, and in-room meal delivery; communicate dietary changes promptly.

This position follows a shift of 4:00pm-7:30pm, working 3 weekdays per week and every other weekend rotation.The Dining Services Associate is responsible for supporting the preparation, service, and delivery of meals in accordance with established dietary guidelines, sanitation standards, and facility policies.
