Qualifications

  • Nursing degree from an accredited program and an active RN license.
  • Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in healthcare settings (hospital/long-term care).
  • At least 1 year of rehabilitative/restorative nursing exposure and practices.
  • Strong communication, discretion, and professional judgment in sensitive environments.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Director of Nursing in daily operations of the nursing department.
  • Lead in the Director's absence and participate in committees (QA, Infection Control, Policy).
  • Develop, implement, and review nursing policies and care standards.
  • Ensure adequate staffing and evaluate staff performance; conduct evaluations and actions.
  • Oversee admissions, care planning, discharge planning, and resident/family communication.
  • Monitor care plans, ensure compliance with regulations (HIPAA/OSHA), and provide rounds.

We are seeking an experienced, compassionate, and dynamic Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to partner with our Director of Nursing in leading the daily clinical operations of our healthcare community, including both Skilled Nursing and Assisted Living. In this role, you will provide hands-on leadership, support quality care initiatives, mentor and develop nursing staff, and help ensure the highest standards of resident care and regulatory compliance.Your leadership will play a vital role in fostering a collaborative, team-oriented culture while enhancing the overall resident and family experience.
