Job summary

Lutheran Village at Miller's Grant in Maryland is seeking a Part Time Dining Services Associate- Clinical to join a mission-driven, not-for-profit community. The role requires availability on varying weekdays and an every-other-weekend rotation, with shifts either 3:30pm-7:30pm or 6:30am-2:30pm depending on needs.

You will support meal prep, service, and delivery in line with dietary guidelines and sanitation standards, interact with residents and staff, and help ensure a positive dining

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent or current high school enrollment.
• At least 1 year experience in hospital, restaurant, or CC retirement setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and support a positive dining experience.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, infection control, and dietary guidelines.
• Prepare meals according to recipes, production sheets, and dietary requirements.
• Operate kitchen equipment and assist with food preparation, cooking, and serving.
• Deliver meals, assist with menu selections, and ensure dietary compliance.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized workstations and service areas.
• Communicate resident and dietary updates accurately and professionally.
• Protect resident confidentiality and report concerns to appropriate staff.
• Participate in meal service, training sessions, and other duties as assigned.

The Dining Services Associate is responsible for supporting the preparation, service, and delivery of meals in accordance with established dietary guidelines, sanitation standards, and facility policies. This role involves direct interaction with residents and staff and plays a key role in ensuring a positive dining experience for all.

Qualifications

What You'll Need as a Dining Services Associate - Clinical:

Education | Experience

• High School diploma or equivalent or current enrollment in high school.
• At least 1 year experience in hospital, restaurant, or continuing care retirement community (CCRC) preferred.
