Job summary

Saint Therese in Westlake, OH is seeking a Part-Time Dining Services Aide. The role features a blended schedule, requiring work every other weekend and every other holiday. Available shifts include 3:00pm - 7:00pm on weekdays and 8:00am - 7:00pm on weekends.

This position offers opportunities to support residents with meals and dining services in a senior living setting. Preferred candidates have one year of food service experience, ideally in senior living, healthcare, or long-term care dining.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation and meal service in accordance with resident diet orders, menu standards, and portion guidelines
• Support safe food handling, sanitation, and infection control practices following state, local, and facility regulations
• Prepare and portion food items according to therapeutic and modified diet requirements as directed
• Assist with tray line service, meal delivery, and dining room support to ensure positive resident dining experiences
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen, serving areas, and equipment
• Work collaboratively with dining team members and supervisors to ensure efficient meal service
• Support a welcoming, customer-focused dining environment for residents, families, and guests

4. Ability to read and understand English and follow verbal and written instructions
