Job summary

Saint Therese Westlake is seeking a Part-Time Resident Assistant to provide compassionate, person-centered care to our residents. Join a dedicated team in a welcoming community that emphasizes dignity, safety, and meaningful daily living.

Qualifications

• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication.
• Ability to work independently and accurately complete tasks.

• Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including assisting with resident transfers (50+ lbs.)

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on care and support to residents in accordance with individualized care plans
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility
• Safely transfer and reposition residents using appropriate techniques and equipment (gait belts, mechanical lifts, etc.)
• Monitor and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff in a timely manner
• Respond promptly to call lights, phone inquiries, and in-person requests
• Support residents with dignity, respect, and compassion at all times
• Promote a positive, calm, and supportive environment for residents, families, and team members
• Collaborate with the care team to ensure safe, person-centered care delivery

Available Shifts

1. 7:00am - 3:00pm (Part-time)
2. 11:00pm - 7:00am (Full Time)

1. Previous caregiving experience, preferably working with residents in memory care
