Job summary

Saint Therese at St. Mary of the Woods is seeking a Part-Time Food Server to join our senior living team. Openings include several shifts from early morning through evening, with several days per week available.

Target pay ranges from $13 to $16 per hour, with same-day pay options. You will support dining operations, assist with meal service, and help create warm, welcoming experiences for residents and families.

Qualifications

• Ability to interact respectfully and positively with residents, families, and team members.
• Ability to work cooperatively in a team-oriented dining environment.
• Reliable attendance and strong professional work habits.
• Ability to read and understand English and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to comply with all health regulations, including post-offer screenings.
• Ability to perform essential functions of the position with or without accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation and meal service in accordance with resident diet orders, menu standards, and portion guidelines.
• Support safe food handling, sanitation, and infection control practices following state and local regulations.
• Prepare and portion food items according to therapeutic and modified diet requirements as directed.
• Assist with tray line service, meal delivery, and dining room support to ensure positive resident dining experiences.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen, serving areas, and equipment.
• Work collaboratively with dining team members and supervisors to ensure efficient meal service.
• Support a welcoming, customer-focused dining environment for residents, families, and guests.

Part-Time | Food Server

At Saint Mary of the Woods, we are seeking to add multiple Servers to our team! We openings on the following shifts:

• 3 openings for: 7:00am - 2:00pm (four days a week)
• 1 opening for: 11:00am - 7:00pm (two days a week)
• 1 opening for: 6:00am - 2:00pm (four days a week)
• 3 openings for: 7:00am - 2:00pm (three days a week)

Target Pay: $13-16/hour | *Same Day Pay Available*

Experience Preferred

• One year of food service experience, preferably in senior living, healthcare, or long‑term care dining
• Experience following diet orders, portion control standards, and food safety procedures
