Job summary

Cedarhurst Senior Living is hiring a Dining Server to deliver exceptional dining experiences for residents and guests. You will provide courteous table service, maintain cleanliness, assist with events, and support cost-control while following safety and sanitation guidelines.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, up to two years of experience (preferably in senior living), and CPR/BLS certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• Up to two years of prior experience preferred, with senior living experience strongly desired.
• CPR or BLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with catering, room service, special events, and marketing functions.
• Promptly take food and beverage orders and deliver service to residents and guests in a courteous, accurate, and efficient manner.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work area by washing pots, pans, and utensils used in meal preparation, following all food safety standards.
• Clear, sanitize, and reset tables; dispose of trash and clean containers; and complete daily checklists to ensure kitchen and dining areas are consistently maintained.
• Assist with cleaning dining areas, including floors, tables, and chairs after meals and events, and ensure sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping are completed at the end of each shift.
