Job summary

Cedarhurst Living is seeking a Dining Server to deliver an exceptional dining experience for residents and guests, maintaining cleanliness and food safety while keeping dining areas welcoming and sanitary.

You will support daily meals and special events, assist with food preparation, and communicate menu details to residents and families, upholding Cedarhurst’s high service standards and commitment to resident wellbeing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Two years of prior experience preferred, with senior living experience strongly desired.
• CPR or BLS certification preferred.
• Relevant state or county licensure preferred, with ability to obtain licensure if required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Excel, Word) and related systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist with catering, room service, events to ensure resident satisfaction.
• Take food and beverage orders and deliver service courteously and accurately.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary work area and follow all food safety standards.
• Clear, sanitize, and reset tables; complete daily checklists.
• Assist with cleaning dining areas and maintaining floors, tables, and chairs.
• Follow recipes and safety guidelines for food preparation and service.
• Communicate menu details to residents and families.
• Follow infection control guidelines and PPE requirements.
