Job summary

Cedarhurst Living is seeking a Dining Server to deliver exceptional dining experiences for residents and guests. You will provide courteous service, assist with events, and help maintain clean, safe dining areas in a senior living setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Up to two years of prior experience preferred, with senior living experience strongly desired.
• Relevant state or county licensure preferred, with the ability to obtain licensure if required by the state in which employed.
• CPR or BLS certification preferred.
• Demonstrated proficiency in common digital tools and applications such as Outlook, Excel, Word, and EHR systems.

Responsibilities

• Deliver courteous and efficient table service to residents and guests.
• Assist with catering, room service, and special events as needed.
• Maintain clean, sanitary dining areas and follow food safety standards.
• Clear, sanitize, and reset tables; complete daily checklists.
• Communicate menu details and residents' dining preferences effectively.
• Support cost-control by minimizing waste and managing supplies responsibly.
