Job summary

Cedarhurst Senior Living is seeking a Dining Server to deliver exceptional dining experiences for residents and guests. You will support daily meal service, assist with events, and help maintain sanitary, welcoming dining areas in a senior living setting.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent, with up to two years of prior relevant experience. CPR/BLS certification is preferred, and basic computer skills are advantageous.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Up to two years of prior experience preferred, with senior living experience strongly desired.
• Relevant state or county licensure preferred, with ability to obtain licensure if required.
• CPR or BLS certification preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs, EHR systems, and HR-related platforms.

Responsibilities

• Deliver courteous, efficient table service and maintain high food safety standards.
• Assist with catering, room service, events, and resident activities as needed.
• Maintain clean dining areas, tables, and utensils; ensure proper sanitation.
• Communicate menu details and adapt service to resident preferences.
