Job summary

Violi Oak Brook, operated by DineAmic Hospitality, seeks a Server Assistant to support fast-paced dining room operations and enhance guest experiences. You will assist servers, hosts, bartenders, and managers to ensure smooth service flow and consistent hospitality standards.

Responsibilities include quick table resets, maintaining dining room cleanliness, and aiding beverage service while upholding sanitation guidelines and company policies. Strong teamwork and professionalism are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a high-volume full-service restaurant environment.
• Food Handler Certification or ability to obtain within a specified timeframe.
• Familiarity with restaurant service standards and dining room procedures.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and peak business periods.
• Experience maintaining sanitation and cleanliness standards in accordance with local health department guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Clear and reset tables quickly and accurately according to company standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining room, service stations, and guest areas.
• Refill water glasses and assist with beverage service as needed.
• Monitor dining room cleanliness, including floors, chairs, and high-touch surfaces.
• Maintain stocked and organized service stations (napkins, flatware, glassware, condiments).
• Transport dirty dishes, glassware, and utensils safely and efficiently to designated dish areas.
• Dispose of trash and recycling promptly and maintain clean trash receptacles.
• Assist servers and support staff in maintaining smooth dining room operations during service.
• Communicate effectively with servers, hosts, kitchen staff, and management to support service flow.
• Complete opening, running, and closing side work as assigned.
• Follow all company policies, sanitation guidelines, and food safety standards.
• Contribute positively to team morale and support fellow team members during high-volume periods.
• Maintain a professional appearance and uphold company hospitality standards.
