Job summary

DineAmic Hospitality is hiring Server Assistants for Violi Oak Brook. You will support front-of-house operations in a fast-paced Greek taverna-inspired dining room, helping servers, hosts, bartenders, and managers maintain smooth service flow.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, teamwork, and a polished hospitality presence, with opportunities to grow within a company that values service excellence and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a high-volume full-service restaurant environment.
• Food Handler Certification or ability to obtain within a specified timeframe.
• Familiarity with restaurant service standards and dining room procedures.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and peak business periods.
• Experience maintaining sanitation and cleanliness standards in accordance with local health department guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Clear and reset tables quickly and accurately according to company standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining room, service stations, and guest areas.
• Refill water glasses and assist with beverage service as needed.
• Monitor dining room cleanliness, including floors, chairs, and high-touch surfaces.
• Maintain stocked and organized service stations (napkins, flatware, glassware, condiments).
• Transport dirty dishes, glassware, and utensils safely and efficiently to designated dish areas.
• Dispose of trash and recycling promptly and maintain clean trash receptacles.
• Assist servers and support staff in maintaining smooth dining room operations during service.
• Communicate effectively with servers, hosts, kitchen staff, and management to support service flow.
• Complete opening, running, and closing side work as assigned.
• Follow all company policies, sanitation guidelines, and food safety standards.
• Contribute positively to team morale and support fellow team members during high-volume periods.
• Maintain a professional appearance and uphold company hospitality standards.
