Job summary

Tin Lizzie Indianapolis One, LLC is seeking a Service Assistant to support servers, run food, and keep the dining room welcoming. You will help with table maintenance and guest service, ensuring health and safety standards are followed.

Ideal candidates will be able to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and communicate clearly in English while delivering quality service and maintaining a clean, organized workspace.

Qualifications

• Must have knowledge of basic restaurant hospitality and service-minded attitude.
• Able to stand for 10 hours and lift at least 50 pounds.
• Must read, write and speak English; reliable transportation required.
• Must possess valid food safety certification or state-required certification.
• Compliance with dress and appearance policy including black slip resistant shoes.
• Basic computer usage skills.

Responsibilities

• This position requires attendance as scheduled and policy and procedure compliance.
• Punch in, sign in, and report to the General Manager/Department Manager on time and in full uniform for each shift.
• Perform dining room set-up, running side work and closing duties.
• Sell to guests by communicating with extensive product knowledge.
• Serve guests according to service standards.
• Participate in table and dining room clean up.
• Compute guest checks and operate the POS efficiently and process payments.
• Report 100% of tips for each shift.
• Maintain restaurant safety and sanitation.
• Attend all employee meetings and share suggestions for improvement.
• Keep a clean and professional appearance at all times.
• Must pass tests with a grade of 90% or higher; comply with liquor laws.
• Perform other related duties as assigned; work with teamwork in mind.
