Williamsburg Landing, a CARF-accredited Life Plan Community in Williamsburg, VA, seeks a Dining Room Supervisor (Full Time) to lead the Dining Services Team. You will supervise servers, train staff, coordinate private events, and ensure high-quality dining experiences for residents and guests.

Responsibilities include maintaining dining venue appearance, managing reservations, POS accuracy, and enforcing safety and sanitation standards.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent; Must be at least 21 years old
• 2+ years of dining services experience
• Knowledge of serving alcoholic beverages
• Knowledge of therapeutic diets preferred
• Food Handler’s Card within 30 days of employment
• TIPs certification within first year of employment
• Experience overseeing staff, including training and customer service and quality control
• Knowledge of supervisory practices and geriatric dining needs
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods and lift up to 30 pounds
• Ability to respond appropriately to crises

Aufgaben

• Oversee appearance of dining venues and supervise dining room servers during meal service
• Lead trainings on meal etiquette, serving techniques, therapeutic diets, and sanitation; document training attendance
• Coordinate with food production supervisor to ensure palatability and presentation of food
• Meet with residents/guests to arrange private events and ensure staff coverage and meeting expectations
• Address resident complaints and participate in actions to improve service
• Ensure routine cleaning per master schedule
• Manage menus, reservations, and guest charges; ensure POS accuracy
• Maintain security of dining venues, equipment, and wine/alcohol
• Perform other duties as assigned
