Job summary

Mohegan Sun in Connecticut is seeking an experienced Food & Beverage Server to actively take orders, deliver full service, and ensure guests have a gracious dining experience.

You will present menus, suggest items, collect allergy information, enter orders in the POS, and maintain station cleanliness while working as part of a team in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Previous dining room server experience and ability to work flexible shifts including weekends are required.

Qualifications

• Previous hospitality experience is required.
• Previous dining room server experience is required.
• 1 year experience in a high-volume gourmet restaurant/nightclub/lounge is preferred.
• In lieu of gourmet experience 3 years in comparable position is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Maintains professional appearance standards as directed in the Tao Group Hospitality Employee Handbook.
• Anticipates and accommodate the needs of the guests.
• Assists with serving and menu knowledge to ensure gracious hospitality.
• Accurately enters all orders into the POS system and handles payments.
• Ensures timely delivery of all food and beverages to the guests.
• Communicates the needs of the guests to Front-of-House and Heart-of-House staff and management.

Previous hospitality experience

Previous dining room server experience

1 year experience in a high-volume gourmet restaurant/nightclub/lounge

In lieu of gourmet experience 3 years in comparable position
