Job summary

The Glenview at Pelican Bay in Naples, FL is seeking a Dining Room Supervisor with a hospitality focus. This full-time role serves as the primary Food & Beverage contact until management arrives, verifies schedules, checks deliveries, and covers dining room areas as needed.

Responsibilities include coordinating resident seating, leading pre-shift briefings, assigning staff, recording meal counts, and using the POS system. Benefits include PTO, medical, and more.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year Host/Hostess or Lead Server experience in a fine restaurant, club, hotel, or similar.
• Ability to interpret and explain the menu and coordinate meal service.
• Ability to communicate with residents, families, visitors, peers, supervisors and subordinates.
• State health and/or alcohol compliance card required.

The Glenview at Pelican Bay is a premier continuing care retirement community located in beautiful, sunny Naples, Florida.

We are currently considering candidates for a hospitality focused Dining Room Supervisor. Candidates must have a desire to join a great team dedicated to providing outstanding and superior hospitality.

We currently have the following shifts available: full time

The Dining Room Supervisor at The Glenview at Pelican Bay is responsible for being the primary Food & Beverage contact until management arrives. Verifies schedules, checks deliveries and carries Food & Beverage cell phone. Provides coverage for any area/server station in the absence of scheduled dining room staff.

The Dining Room Supervisor is responsible for the following services including but not limited to:

• Coordinates the seating of the residents and guests in an efficient, courteous manner
• Lead the daily pre-shift lineup for dinner service, ensuring all dining room servers are prepared for service.
• Schedules stations and work assignments for the wait staff and check out servers to make sure standards are met.
• Records meal counts, reservations and additional charges. Complete knowledge of point-of-sale (POS) system.
• Confers with Director of Food & Beverage regarding dining room status.

Skills and Qualifications:
