Job summary

TSFR Applebee’s is seeking a friendly host/hostess to greet guests, seat them promptly, and help maintain smooth dining room flow. You will assist servers and keep the host area clean, contributing to a welcoming environment in our restaurant.

Ideal candidates excel in customer service, enjoy teamwork, and can stand for long periods, including evenings and weekends, to support busy shifts.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to work as a TEAM.
• Friendly and outgoing personality.
• Able to stand for long periods of time.
• Able to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Greet all guests as they enter and depart the restaurant and hold the door open for guests
• Seat guests according to the established plan and guests’ needs
• Keep host/hostess stand and waiting area clean
• Ensure menu’s remain clean and stocked
• Complete restroom checks and refill paper products in bathrooms, as needed
• Sanitize and wipe down all tables and sweep the area as needed and resets the table
• Assist the servers when needed by taking the initial drink order or running food to the guests in the dining room
• Complete daily opening and closing work to ensure a clean and safe environment for guests and TEAM
