Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and to speak before groups.

Responsibilities

• Staffing: interviewing, hiring, training, coaching and scheduling.
• Schedule dining reservations and arrange parties or special services.
• Greets guests, escorts them to tables, and provides menus.
• Handles and fixes complaints to insure a great dining experience.
• Assigns tasks and coordinates activities to ensure prompt, courteous service.
• Inspects dining room serving stations for neatness; inventories linens and supplies.
• Works toward continual improvement of the organization.
