Kennesaw State University is seeking a Lead Dining Operations Associate for The Commons in Kennesaw, GA. This full-time role supports daily dining operations, supervisory tasks, and ensuring service quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities include staff training, inventory oversight, and maintaining cleanliness. A HS diploma and 1 year dining experience are required; ServSafe certification and a related degree are preferred. Salary range is $18.00-$19.00 hourly with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• One year of dining related experience is required.
• ServSafe Food Handler Certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee assigned staff with execution of work.
• Train employees according to established policies.
• Ensure staff are trained in brand, unit or station standards.
• Assist location supervisor with opening and closing procedures.
• Maintain inventory and place orders that meet standards and health codes.
• Oversee position and break rotations.
• Ensure compliance with food and health safety codes.
• Keep the location clean and compliant.
• Cross-train staff to support all areas.
• May serve food from assigned station or location.
