Job Summary

Oversees assigned staff, student assistants and operations within the assigned retail and/or residential dining operations on a specific campus and/or location, which may include oversight of both front and back of the house operations. Assists managers with scheduling, team development, and meeting budgetary goals.

Responsibilities

• Provides a dining experience that meets the lifestyle needs of students
• Ensures the program provides exceptional food variety, quality, cleanliness and freshness
• Assists and coordinates with maintenance and facilities to ensure the dining program has equipment that is well-maintained and functional at all times
• Responsible for leading, supervising, training and development of assigned staff and/or student assistants
• Assists leaders in managing expenses, generating revenue and the overall financial success of the assigned program and/or location
• Assists management in implementing new culinary programs and promotions in conjunction with the marketing and culinary team

Qualifications

Educational Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent

Required Experience: One (1) year of supervisory experience in a food service establishment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of MS Office Suite
• Manager ServSafe Certified
• Undergraduate or advanced degree in a related field or culinary/hospitality program
• Experience in a Higher Education food service establishment
• Leadership and/or training experience in a food service establishment

Salary and Benefits
