Job summary

Reed Smith LLP is seeking a Practice Innovation Specialist to manage intranet and extranet platforms, deliver user training, and support content governance. This role emphasizes collaboration across teams, process improvements, and hands-on site administration with a focus on reliable, user-friendly digital experiences.

The position requires experience with SharePoint, Microsoft 365, HTML/CSS, and strong project management skills.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• Preferred: J.D., MIS, or graduate degree in related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years in a law firm or legal department; knowledge management experience acceptable with 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Respond to user questions and requests related to intranet/extranet platforms with high-quality service.
• Serve as first- and second-tier support for content admins and end users; escalate when needed.
• Conduct trainings, virtual or in person, on intranet/extranet features and site administration.
• Create, update, and maintain training materials, documentation, and user guides.
• Collaborate with teams to enhance platform functionality and governance practices.
• Provide off-hours support and respond to critical incidents as required.
