Job summary

Hawthorne Cat, a California-based family-owned company, seeks a Technology Solutions Supervisor to guide digital products like Product Link and Vision-Link, and to lead the digital services team. You will train customers and Hawthorne personnel, oversee SOPs, and collaborate with Sales, Service, IT, and Marketing to drive data-driven fleet insights for improving uptime.

The role emphasizes strategic development of eCommerce and fleet management solutions while maintaining strong relationships

Qualifications

• Ten years of experience in the construction equipment industry.
• Five years of digital/technology experience and/or training.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Product knowledge in Caterpillar and associated product lines preferred.
• DBS and/or AS400 experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or equivalent preferred.
• Must have a valid California Class C Driver’s License with a good record.
• Ability to communicate professionally and clearly, both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to multi-task and establish priorities.
• Above average knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Lead Hawthorne’s construction technology products and services.
• Serves as the technical subject matter expert for aftermarket digital solutions.
• Lead and oversee training for customers and Hawthorne personnel on digital applications.
• Lead and develop the digital services team and manage departmental performance.
• Develop SOPs for Product Link troubleshooting and installation and train technicians.
• Develop strategies to increase customer engagement and growth via eCommerce and digital solutions.
• Grow adoption of equipment/fleet management technology with customers.
• Analyze telematics and equipment data to identify fleet insights and customer solutions.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to support company objectives.
• Develop strategies to increase customer up-time through fleet management services.
