Job summary

Hitachi Energy in Nashville, TN is seeking an Operations Manager for Digital Services to oversee front-end sales support, order intake, and end-to-end execution of digital projects across the United States.

You will lead field service technicians, manage budgets and forecasts, coordinate cross-functional teams, and ensure on-time delivery within cost and quality standards. Travel up to 30% and SAP/IIoT programming experience are valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business field.
• 5–10 years in operations, project management, or digital services.
• Ability to travel up to 30% domestically.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage front-end technical sales support, order acceptance, and project execution for digital projects and services across the United States.
• Oversee digital field substation equipment monitoring projects, including scheduling, inventory, lead times, and field service activities.
• Directly manage a team of service technicians and support personnel development.
• Prepare operations budgets and forecast project costs.
• Coordinate warranty and support activities with the Global Call Center.
• Coordinate among Sales, Engineering, Quality, Purchasing, and production teams to deliver orders on time, within cost expectations, and to quality standards.
• Prepare technical specifications and investigation reports; provide root cause analysis recommendations.
