Job summary

Jaguar Land Rover North America, LLC seeks a Digital Platform Local Product Engineering Manager in Mahwah, NJ. You will lead a team delivering engineering quality, prognostics, diagnostics and OTA initiatives within the Digital Platform commodity, collaborating with UK peers and local market teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelors or Graduate Degree in Electrical, Software, or applicable Digital Platform/Automotive related Engineering field.
• 5+ years of experience in electrical engineering with a focus on control systems, quality, or calibration.
• Advanced knowledge of current and future JLR products, technologies, and processes.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Six Sigma quality toolset experience.
• Ability to manage multiple initiatives and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Act as the technical specialist for engineering quality in the DP commodity organization.
• Triage, assess, and resolve quality issues in the field with cross-functional teams.
• Lead the team in delivering industry-leading customer experiences and manage challenges with robust planning.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to create value-add quality strategies and drive rapid resolution.
• Understand new product launches and prepare the team for introduction.
• Lead SUMS (Over The Air) test and validation workstreams.
• Drive shift-left strategies to prevent repeat problems across centers of excellence.
