Job summary

Jaguar Land Rover North America seeks an Electrical Local Product Senior Engineer to lead engineering for the DP Digital Platform and CAN networks across Mahwah, Irvine, and Portland locations. You will triage field quality issues and drive root-cause analyses with internal and external stakeholders to deliver robust fixes quickly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Graduate Degree in Electrical, Software, or applicable Digital Platform related Engineering field.
• 3+ years of experience in Electrical engineering, ideally with CAN architecture, networks, control systems.
• Excellent understanding of Electrical (DP Digital Platform) commodity systems and problem-solving approach.
• Six-Sigma training is a distinct advantage.
• Knowledge of JLR products, technologies, and engineering processes preferred.
• Experience with data analysis tools like INCA, Corvus, Vehicle Spy & Canalyser advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Triage, assess, and resolve client quality issues in the field, collaborating with diagnostic specialists, helpdesk, and peers to deliver fixes quickly.
• Support the achievement of departmental objectives as SME for the Electrical (DP Digital Platform) commodity and complete tasks for UK Engineering.
• Collaborate with market teams to prevent repurchase and enhance customer experience; investigate root causes rapidly.
• Be on-site to assist in complex customer cases and gather data for Product Engineering when required.
• Work with Commodity, Quality, and Commercial teams to ensure customer needs are met expeditiously.
• Escalate high-risk systemic issues and drive rapid resolution with engineering channels.
• Provide accurate technical support and validate solutions through testing and data analysis.
