Job summary

Jaguar Land Rover in Mahwah, NJ, seeks a Port Operations & Logistics Senior Specialist to drive efficiency in the order-to-delivery cycle. You will lead IT-business collaboration, develop performance tools, and implement PVOS with daily production reporting and automated vendor payments.

The role requires 5–7 years in automotive operations, strong analytics, and project management, with a hybrid schedule and a competitive compensation package. MBA or TWIC are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Computer Science, Economics, or related discipline is desirable.
• 3-5 years of progressive business experience in an analytical environment
• 5-7 years of business experience in the Automotive Industry
• MBA in finance / operations or equivalent (Desired)
• TWIC – Transport Worker Identification Credential (Must have)
• Advanced project management skills
• Statistical analysis and modelling experience
• Advanced report writing and presentation skills

Responsibilities

• Lead business team and liaison between users and IT on system projects, managing requests and helpdesk tickets.
• Analyze Order-to-Delivery processes from Retailer order to delivery, developing tools to evaluate performance and boost efficiency.
• Create monthly performance reports on ocean, port, and inland carrier performance.
• Assess vendor performance and justify improvements to increase throughput and reduce costs.
• Manage applications to improve efficiency and cut resources by increasing AI tool usage.
• Ensure full audit compliance for the department.
• Develop knowledge of key processes and provide backup during peak periods.
• Develop and manage PVOS, daily production reporting, and automated vendor payments for services.
