Job summary

System One is seeking a Digital Payments Operations Specialist for a contract role based in Pensacola, FL, or Vienna, VA, or Winchester, VA. The position operates on a hybrid model with 3 days onsite and 2 days remote, and hours from 7pm to 3:30am.

• Demonstrates knowledge of wire transfers, cashier's checks, faster payments, Western Union and related operational processes.
• Applies regulatory requirements including OFAC screening, fraud prevention controls, BSA requirements and internal policies to mitigate risk.
• Analyzes complex payment scenarios, identifies root causes, resolves exceptions, and balances member service, risk, and operations requirements.
• Maintains high accuracy when reviewing payment instructions, account information, and supporting documentation to prevent errors and losses.
• Partners with team members and stakeholders to resolve issues and support operational objectives.

Job Title: Digital Payments Operations Specialist
Location: Pensacola FL, Vienna VA or Winchester VA
Type: Contract
Compensation: Pay Rate: 24/hr W-2
Work Model: Hybrid - 3 days onsite and 2 days remote
Hours: 7pm-3:30am

This is a shift position from 7PM- 3:30 AM - this consultant can work out of Pensacola FL, Winchester VA or Vienna VA.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates solid knowledge of wire transfers, cashier's checks, faster payments, Western Union, and related operational processes


• Understands and applies regulatory requirements, including OFAC screening, fraud prevention controls, Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) requirements, and internal policies to mitigate operational and compliance risk


• Analyzes complex payment scenarios, identifies root causes, resolves exceptions efficiently, and makes sound decisions while balancing member service, risk, and operational requirements


• Maintains a high level of accuracy when reviewing payment instructions, account information, and supporting documentation to prevent errors and financial losses


• Effectively partners with team members and stakeholders to resolve issues, provide updates, and support operational objectives
