Job summary

TD SYNNEX North America is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support digital pathology systems in clinical environments. You will perform maintenance, installations, and troubleshooting with healthcare teams, ensuring peak equipment performance and uptime.

The role requires 2–3 years of field service in medical devices, strong PC/windows skills, and willingness to travel primarily within Memphis, Washington DC, and New Orleans regions. Excellent customer service and documentation are essential.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent is required; degrees preferred.
2–3 years of field service or technical support in medical devices/lab automation.
Proficiency with PC hardware, Windows OS, MS Office; basic networking (TCP/IP, VPN).
Hands-on experience with robotic systems, lab instruments and service docs.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on digital pathology systems and related hardware.
Schedule, execute and document preventive maintenance and FCOs; ensure SOPs and regulatory standards.
Diagnose root causes, perform repairs, and validate system performance.
Lead site setups, configure networking and LIS integrations.
Provide on-site technical support and troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
Maintain accurate service reports, work orders and calibration records.
