Job summary

Beckman Coulter Diagnostics, part of Danaher, is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, maintain, and repair laboratory instruments. You will travel within the New England region, provide on-site support, and ensure high customer satisfaction in clinical and research labs.

You will report to the Field Service Manager and may work remotely within the territory. A technical associate degree or equivalent experience is required, plus 1+ years in field service and strong documentation skills.

Qualifications

• Associate degree (prefer technical, biomedical, instrumentation, electrical engineering or related) or equivalent military experience.
• 1+ years of experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electromechanical, robotics, electronic equipment, and/or instrumentation.
• Demonstrated experience managing a dynamic service schedule with travel throughout an assigned region, independently complete service documentation, PMs, and corrective actions while meeting company performance and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, install, validate, perform preventative maintenance, modify, and repair Beckman Coulter equipment; provide excellent service and training on products.
• Maintain accurate customer service logs, order parts, and adhere to cycle times using OBI, Salesforce, and SharePoint for planning.
• Communicate with internal and external customers; assist with training newer Field Service Engineers.
