Job summary

Shyft Global Services, a TD SYNNEX Company, is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support digital pathology systems in clinical environments. The role involves installing, configuring, and maintaining complex equipment, with travel across designated metro areas and beyond.

You will diagnose and resolve hardware/software issues, document service activities, and collaborate with clinicians and engineers to ensure optimal system performance. A strong customer-service mindset is essential.

Qualifications

2-3 years of field service or technical support experience in medical devices and laboratory automation.
Hands-on experience with robotic systems, laboratory instruments, and service documentation processes.
Proficiency with PC hardware, Windows OS, Microsoft Office, and basic networking concepts (TCP/IP, VPN).

Responsibilities

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on digital scanners and related hardware.
Lead site installations: unpack, assemble, calibrate instruments; configure networking and LIS integration.
Respond to on-site service calls; troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues; maintain uptime SLAs.
