Job summary

Bayer is seeking an Operations Technology Associate in the United States (Arizona, Tucson) to be the site OT information security focal point. The role drives cybersecurity for manufacturing, greenhouse, lab, and facility systems, ensuring secure, reliable and compliant operations.

You will lead vulnerability remediation, incident response support, and governance-aligned changes across OT infrastructure. The role requires a BS degree in a related field or 4+ years' experience, strong data-driven

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Cyber Operations, Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field OR 4+ years applicable business experience
• Strong analytical skills with data and metrics to back up assumptions and recommendations
• Ability to convince teams to test new processes and methods regularly
• Experience orchestrating programs across functions and coordinating resources
• Proven ability to grow relationships with partners and suppliers
• Innovative consulting mindset to drive digital business strategies
• Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work on site in manufacturing, greenhouse, and laboratory environments and follow safety/PPE requirements

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain cybersecurity standards, baselines, and hardening for site OT.
• Ensure new systems comply with cybersecurity policies; document exceptions.
• Support engineering and capital projects with cybersecurity guidance across design and implementation.
• Review and execute firewall, network security, and remote access changes per governance.
• Manage identity and access for OT systems including provisioning and audits.
• Maintain OT infrastructure security and maintenance; support cybersecurity platforms.
• Coordinate vulnerability management, patching, configuration management, and remediation.
• Monitor cyber alerts, risks, incidents; participate in incident response and recovery.
• Serve as a technical resource for cybersecurity and infrastructure initiatives.
• Coordinate with vendors and enterprise tech teams to ensure secure service delivery.
• Maintain cybersecurity documentation, asset inventories, risk assessments, and compliance records.
• Prepare status reports and risk updates for leadership.
• Identify and address OT risks; escalate significant issues as needed.
