Job summary

BD is seeking an Associate Director, OT Cybersecurity Officer to protect the cybersecurity and operational resilience of its global manufacturing and distribution technology environments. You will own OT security strategy and risk management.

You will lead cross-functional governance, set requirements, drive risk reduction, and enable secure operations while balancing cybersecurity with safety, quality, and supply continuity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, IT, CS, Engineering required.
• Advanced degree such as MBA or MS preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive experience across cybersecurity, OT/ICS security, technology, engineering, or manufacturing.
• Significant experience securing industrial, manufacturing, ICs, or OT environments in a complex global organization.
• Strong experience in cybersecurity risk management, architecture, vulnerability management, security operations, incident response, and resilience.
• Experience partnering with manufacturing, engineering, infrastructure, and business leadership.
• Demonstrated people leadership, talent development, and executive communication experience.

Responsibilities

• Own OT cybersecurity strategy, risk thresholds, and governance.
• Lead cross-functional governance to drive OT security adoption.
• Own the enterprise OT risk and vulnerability management framework.
• Translate OT risk into business, operational resilience, and supply impact.
• Provide security leadership for modernization, automation, and digital manufacturing initiatives.
• Build and lead a globally distributed OT cybersecurity organization.
• Develop and manage the OT cybersecurity investment portfolio, operating budget, and business cases.
