Job summary

Nexstar Media Group, Inc. is seeking an experienced Digital Media Director for KLBK-TV to lead digital content, audience growth, and streaming/CTV initiatives. You will shape editorial strategy and align broadcast with digital and social platforms.

The role requires leadership across digital teams, strong analytics knowledge, and a proven ability to drive cross-platform collaboration within a fast-paced newsroom environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, Digital Media, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum five (5) years of leadership in digital news, audience development, streaming, or multiplatform content operations.
• Proven success driving audience growth and managing high-performing teams.
• Strong knowledge of digital analytics, SEO, audience behavior, social media platforms, and streaming ecosystems.
• Excellent editorial judgment, communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced newsroom environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Experience working across broadcast, digital, social, and streaming platforms preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead digital, social, streaming, and CTV content strategy as a member of the newsroom leadership team.
• Partner with newsroom leaders to drive multiplatform content planning, audience growth, and coverage execution.
• Direct digital coverage during breaking news, severe weather, and major events.
• Drive measurable growth in digital audiences, social engagement, streaming and CTV viewership while developing staff.
• Lead KLBK+ and streaming initiatives, identifying opportunities for live and original content.
• Supervise Digital Producers and staff, providing coaching and performance management.
• Establish clear goals, KPIs, and provide regular feedback and development opportunities.
