The role focuses on delivering high-quality content for broadcast and online channels, including breaking news and special events. You’ll lead teams, mentor staff, and help develop efficient workflows in a fast-paced newsroom.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; degree in Broadcast Production, Journalism, or related field preferred.
• At least two years of experience in television production, directing, or newsroom operations.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, holidays, and weather-related coverage.

Responsibilities

• Direct live newscasts and special coverage.
• Lead control room operations coordinating cameras, audio, graphics, and staff.
• Produce and oversee content for broadcast, streaming, OTT, CTV, and FAST.
• Direct breaking news, weather, sports, election coverage, and events.
• Operate and manage live-streaming technologies.
• Collaborate with newsroom, digital, and engineering teams.
• Train and mentor production staff; develop best practices.
