We are seeking a Digital Manufacturing Engineer (based in Elgin, Illinois) to collaborate with global and regional teams on implementing new digital solutions in IIOT/SC/OT. Reporting to the Digitalization and Automation Lead, you will help further digitalize our manufacturing operations.

Our ideal candidate will:

1. Manage technical projects, including requirements, budgets, timelines, and changes.
2. Utilize technology to improve manufacturing processes.
3. Lead workshops with stakeholders to understand manufacturing requirements.
4. Develop, deploy, and support manufacturing systems such as MES, QMS, PLCs, SCADA, Data Historians, CMMS, and computer vision.
5. Have expertise in OT programming languages like Python, JavaScript, C#, etc.
6. Work with SQL databases, writing complex queries and procedures.
7. Understand OT integration standards including OPC and MQTT.
8. Design and develop cloud-based data analytics and reporting solutions.
9. Experience with OPC servers, data tags, REST API, and enterprise system integration.
10. Travel up to 10% as needed.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or Industrial Technology, with 3-5 years of manufacturing experience supporting operations technology.
