We are looking to add an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to our growing manufacturing division. The ideal candidate will be expected to learn existing practices and assist with the development of a plan to modernize and improve efficiency within the machine shop.

Responsibilities

• Create NPI/RFQ quotes
• Maintain tooling inventory
• Troubleshoot quality defects

Requirements

• Advanced knowledge of Mazak (Mazatrol) lathe operation, including:
• Machine troubleshooting
• Program creation and edits
• Fixture design
• Tool selection and setup
• Basic Knowledge Of Hurco Mill Operation, Including:
• Conversational program creation and edits
• Tool selection and setup
• Basic CAM software implementation and operation experience
• Cellular manufacturing experience
• Experience holding machining tolerances +/- .005
• Basic metallurgy familiarity (mild steel)
