About the role

We're looking for a self-starter to build our team and processes from the ground up! As you build our team of assembly technicians, you will also be hands-on in assembling robotic systems, ensuring seamless integration of skills and project progression. If you thrive in leadership and technical challenges, we'd love to hear from you! The work site is in Woodridge, Illinois.

Responsibilities we’ll trust you with:
  • Planning and monitoring production processes in the US in cooperation with the remote team in Croatia
  • Taking over documentation from engineering and planning how to perform work
  • Monitoring production problems and reporting them to the engineering team in Zagreb, Croatia
  • Ensuring the success of the US-based assembly team and the quality of services provided
  • Leading & building a cohesive assembly team
  • Participating in hiring and training new team members
  • Assembling mechanical and electrical components according to documentation and engineering inputs
  • Testing and troubleshooting electro/mechanical systems
  • Providing feedback and updating technical documentation
  • Performing other technical duties as needed to ensure smooth operations
  • Collaborating closely with electrical, mechanical, and QA engineers in Zagreb, Croatia
Your area of expertise:
  • High school or bachelor's degree in a technical field
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
  • Good verbal and written English communication skills
  • Extensive knowledge in assembling mechanical and electrical components
  • Extensive knowledge in testing electro/mechanical systems
