About the role

We're seeking a self-motivated individual to establish and lead our assembly technician team in Woodridge, Illinois. This role involves hands-on assembly of robotic systems, ensuring seamless integration of skills and project progress. The ideal candidate thrives in leadership and technical challenges.

Responsibilities
  1. Plan and oversee production processes in the US, collaborating with the Croatian team.
  2. Manage documentation from engineering and plan work procedures.
  3. Identify and report production issues to the engineering team in Zagreb.
  4. Ensure the success of the US assembly team and maintain high service quality.
  5. Build and lead a cohesive assembly team.
  6. Participate in hiring and training new team members.
  7. Assemble mechanical and electrical components per documentation and engineering guidance.
  8. Test and troubleshoot electro-mechanical systems.
  9. Update technical documentation based on feedback.
  10. Perform additional technical tasks to ensure smooth operations.
  11. Collaborate closely with electrical, mechanical, and QA engineers in Zagreb.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or bachelor's degree in a technical field.
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficient in English communication.
  • Extensive experience in mechanical and electrical assembly.
  • Skilled in testing electro-mechanical systems.
