Job summary

Vital Records Control (VRC) is seeking a Digital Specialist I to accurately prepare and scan a high volume of documents into digital images, aiming for consistency with department hourly averages.

Responsibilities include operating automatic feeders and flatbed scanners, setting precise parameters, and maintaining image quality. The role requires proficiency in English, teamwork, and willingness to work overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Proficient with a computer workstation and scanner systems.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and scan paper documents according to customer specifications.
• Operate automatic feeder and flatbed scanner.
• Set scanner parameters for each job to ensure accurate handling per customer specifications.
• Maintain daily cleaning of scanner to ensure image quality.
• Log document/box numbers for retrieval.
• Assist team members with document preparation and indexing.
• Carry out other tasks as assigned by supervisor or Director of Operations.
