Job summary

Vital Records Control (VRC) in Manchester, NH seeks a Digital Specialist I to accurately prepare and scan large volumes of documents, converting printed materials into high-quality digital images.

You will operate the automatic feeder and flatbed scanners, adjust settings per job specs, maintain equipment, and support indexing and retrieval tasks. Strong English, computer use, and willingness to overtime are required.

Qualifications

• Must communicate effectively in English.
• Proficient with computer workstation and scanner systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot computer problems related to electronic document conversion.
• Must be able and willing to work overtime hours as needed.
• Must have a positive and respectful attitude toward coworkers and customers.
• Must follow company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and scan paper documents according to customer specifications.
• Accept changes to specifications as customer needs evolve.
• Use automatic feeder and flatbed scanner for various paper sizes.
• Set scanner parameters per job to ensure accurate handling.
• Perform daily maintenance/cleaning of the scanner to maintain image quality.
• Log document/box numbers for future retrieval.
• Assist teammates with document preparation and indexing.
• Complete other tasks assigned by supervisor or Director of Operations.
