Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a Relationship Banker to build and maintain client relationships across in-person, by appointment, and virtual channels.

You will assess banking needs, gather account information, and educate clients on deposit and loan products while proposing tailored solutions. You will open new consumer and business accounts, process service requests, and educate clients on digital self-service options.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Typically has a minimum four to five years of job-related, retail banking experience or a combination of experience and commensurate training.
• Proven ability to build and foster relationships with clients through proactive outreach and follow up.
• Ability to effectively engage and communicate with clients.
• Thorough knowledge of applicable bank and branch policies, procedures and support systems.
• Thorough knowledge of all retail products and services.
• Proven customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in participating in sales campaigns/promotions.
• Experience with using and demonstrating digital products and self-service technologies.
• Ability to explore and identify a customer’s true needs while leveraging a digital first mindset.
• Demonstrated advanced level of proficiency in making appropriate recommendations that meet customer’s needs both reactively and proactively.
